A fun and visually enjoyable Johnny Miller designed golf course located in Lehi. The Jordan River meanders through the course. Lots of mounding, large bunkers and greens. The course is kept in very good condition. Links Magazine rated it as one of the tip “Hidden Gems” in the country.
Best Holes – #6 is a long par 4 with gardens along the left side and the Jordan River on the right. It is best to keep it straight here. The green is large and receptive. #11 is a tough three shot hole with a long carry of the water right off the tee.
Best Holes – #1 “Tombstones”, You have to choose this open. A drive down the right fairway is preferred, but be careful, the adjoining graveyard is OB. The green is guarded by bunkers, anything left will be difficult to get up and down. #7 “Castle Green” is a gorgeous par 4. Like several of the holes here, you want to play down the right side, but OB looms along the cliffs. The green is surrounded by dunes that Ballybunion is famous for. #11 “Watsons” Named for Tom Watson, aim your tee shot on the OB line right and let the prevailing winds drift you back to the fairway. Your second should carry all the way to the green, large grass bunker right and short.
